Who is The Beach Matters Group?

The Beach Matters is the Sunshine Coast’s largest community organisation dedicated to preserving our beaches, beach lifestyle and our Blue Economy. We are a volunteer, not-for-profit and non-political group who work with the community and all levels of government to protect this incredible natural treasure for current and future generations and our amazing marine life.

Join us and support our endeavours and work in beach clean-ups, education, awareness campaigns and more! If you can’t donate time, we would be very grateful for a financial donation to help us purchase more beach clean-up bags, equipment, print more beach awareness packs, including our beach handout and guidebook and more!
